MAC 2024 Volleyball Program

Welcome to the Moanalua Athletic Club (MAC) Volleyball program! The MAC Volleyball program is primarily for youth residing in the Moanalua area (Fort Shafter to Red Hill and mauka of the freeway), or attending Moanalua Elementary or Middle schools.

Program Information

The 2024 season will run from April 1, 2024 - June 2024

MAC Volleyball divisions and age groups are as follows:

Age is determined by the age of the child on January 1, 2024.

  • Pintos - Ages 7 & 8
  • Mustangs - Ages 9 & 10
  • Broncos - Ages 11 & 12
  • Pony - Ages 13 & 14 (Needs a volunteer to be head coach and a minimum of 8 players to form a team)

We need volunteer Coaches and Assistant Coaches!

  • Teams will be formed if we have a minimum of 2 coaches and 9 players.
    • If we don’t have enough coaches, the number of participants will be limited.
  • The Pony division needs a head coach and a minimum of 8 players for a team to be formed.
  • Coaches’ child or children are given priority for placement and Fees will be waived.
  • Team assignments and practices start after 3/24/24

Practices are held at Moanalua Community Park Courts and Moanalua Elementary School courts (pending MES approval)

Priority for selection are as follows:

  1. Head coaches child(ren)
  2. Players living in the Moanalua Elementary district (proof of residency required which needs to be a utility bill addressed to legal guardian of player)
  3. Players who have obtained a Geographic Exception to Moanalua Elementary or Middle School (player’s school schedule acceptable)
  4. All other players
  5. Players who are requesting specific days of practice and are not a head coaches child

The MAC 2024 volleyball sign-up period is from March 9 through March 17.

Sign-up is ONLINE ONLY.

NOTE: After signing up on the website, your child will be placed on a wait list. Players will be assigned to a team after registration form and fee is received.

  • You may be required to show proof of birth date
  • You may be required to show proof of residency or geographic exception
  • ABSOLUTELY NO LATE REGISTRATIONS
  • RETURNS ON UNIFORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Notification and Payment

If your child is selected, the registration form and your payment must be made by check or money order made payable to MAC for $30. This fee primarily covers the cost of t-shirt uniforms & equipment. Registration and payment must be sent and postmarked by Monday, March 25, 2024, or your child will be taken off the list.

Check Policy

Checks returned unpaid by your bank will be returned to you by the program coordinator. Your check will not be re-deposited. Within one week of notification, you must make arrangements with the coordinator (or any board member) to pay the registration fee plus $20.00 (bank charges) by either: 1) cash or 2) another check. Should your second check be returned, all future payments (regardless of activity) must be made in cash. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please check with the program coordinator.
