MAC 2023 - 2024 Basketball Program

Welcome to the Moanalua Athletic Club (MAC) Basketball program! The MAC Basketball program is primarily for youth residing in the Moanalua area (Fort Shafter to Red Hill and mauka of the freeway), and/or attending Moanalua Elementary, Moanalua Middle or Moanalua High (9th grade only) Schools.

The 2023-2024 MAC Basketball season is scheduled to run from November 27, 2023 - March 16, 2024.

Cost: $50.00 (Primarily for uniforms, awards, banners, & team equipment).

We need team moms, Coaches & Assistant Coaches!!!

Coaches’ & Assistant Coaches’ child or children given priority for placement. If coaches are not available, the team in your child’s age group will not be formed.

Program Information

MAC Basketball divisions and age groups are as follows: (Age of child on 12/31/2023)

  • (Sign-up closed for Jr. Pintos) - Ages 5 (must be five on December 31, 2023) & 6
  • (Sign-up closed for Pintos) - Ages 7 & 8
  • (Sign-up closed for Mustangs) - Ages 9 & 10
  • (Sign-up closed for Broncos) - Ages 11 & 12
  • Pony - Ages 13 & 14

Priority for selection are as follows:

  1. Head coaches child(ren)
  2. Players living in the Moanalua Elementary district (proof of residency required which needs to be a utility bill addressed to legal guardian of player)
  3. Players who have obtained a Geographic Exception to Moanalua Elementary or Middle School (player’s school schedule acceptable)
  4. All other players
  5. Players who are requesting specific days of practice and are not a head coaches’ child

Registration is a two-step process

  1. Sign-up - Provide information about the child and parents.
  2. Registration and payment (a child will not be placed on a team roster until this step is completed).

This year there will only be online sign-ups which will be open from 11/13/2023 through 11/22/2023

  • If your child is selected, payment must be made by check or money order made payable to MAC for $50. Payment must be made by December 10, 2023 or your child will be taken off the list.
  • You may be required to show proof of birth date
  • You may be required to show proof of residency or geographic exception

After you sign-up, the program coordinator will contact you via email with instructions to complete the PAL registration form and to remit your payment of $50. Please make your payment prior to the deadline or acceptance into the league will be terminated.

Remember, your child is not Registered until the payment and PAL registration form is received.

Check Policy

For recordkeeping purposes, we prefer a personal check from a local bank.

Checks returned unpaid by your bank will be returned to you by the program coordinator. Your check will not be re-deposited. Within one week of notification, you must make arrangements with the coordinator (or any board member) to pay the registration fee plus $20.00 (bank charges) by either: 1) cash or 2) another check. Should your second check be returned, all future payments (regardless of activity) must be made in cash. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please check with the program coordinator.
