MAC 2026 Baseball Program

Youth baseball will be under the auspices of the Moanalua Athletic Club (MAC) & POLICE ACTIVITY LEAGUE (PAL).

The MAC baseball program is primarily for boys and girls residing in the Moanalua area (Fort Shafter to Red Hill and mauka of the freeway) and/or attend Moanalua Elementary School.)

Baseball Teams are for boys & girls, and the age determination date is the child’s age on January 1, 2026.

MAC Baseball divisions and age groups are as follows (age on January 1, 2026):

Division Age Practice Days
Pinto & Jr. Pinto 5, 6, 7 Mondays & Fridays
Mustang 9, 10 Monday or Tuesdays, & Thursdays

Please note that we will not form a team unless we have a minimum number of coaches and players. The minimum number of players is 9 and the maximum is 16.

The priority for selection is as follows:

  1. Head coach and assistant coaches children
  2. Players who attend Moanalua Elementary School.
  3. Players living in the Moanalua Elementary District
  4. Players who have obtained a Geographic Exception to Moanalua Elementary School
  5. All others in the age groups

Season Information

Practices at Moanalua Community Park Field

Practice Times are between 3:15 – 6:15 PM depending on the age group and coach’s availability

The season is expected to start the second Saturday in June and end the last Saturday in July.

Game dates will be Saturday mornings, from June 13 through July 25. All games at Kalihi Valley District Park field: 1911 Kamehameha IV Road

MAC Fees

The registration fee for all age groups will be $60. These fees cover the cost of:

  • Providing player team jersey, and cap
  • Any surplus will be go purchasing baseball equipment and supplies

Payment is due on the first day of practice (May 27).

Uniforms

Team jersey and cap will be provided to players this season.

  • Baseball pants and socks will not be provided this year. Players are responsible for providing their own baseball pants BLACK colored socks for games.

RETURNS ON UNIFORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

  1. SIGN UP: Online sign-up period is May 12 – May 19
  2. REGISTRATION AND FEE: Registration form and payment due date is the first day of practice is projected to be May 27

Payment

A completed registration form and payment must be received before a player is assigned to a team. Payment is due on the first day of practice (May 27).

Check Policy

Checks returned unpaid by your bank will be returned to you by the program coordinator. Your check will not be re-deposited. Within one week of notification, you must make arrangements with the coordinator (or any board member) to pay the registration fee plus $20.00 (bank charges) by either: 1) cash or 2) another check. Should your second check be returned, all future payments (regardless of activity) must be made in cash. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please check with the program coordinator.
